PLUS SUPER </b></p><p>Looking for a substantive leadership position in a culturally rich environment that will offer you the growth and challenge of a lifetime? </p><p>Xavier Catholic College, Wurrumiyanga (Bathurst Island) is a co-educational Catholic Secondary College located 80 km North of Darwin. We provide a holistic Catholic education for over 90 students from Years 7-13. Our staff is committed to making a difference every day in the lives of young Tiwi people. We are known for our consistent professionalism and high expectations. The Tiwi community is very welcoming and you will quickly become part of life on Bathurst Island, experiencing many cultural events and being immersed in Tiwi Catholicism. Bathurst Island is readily accessible by air and ferry. Accommodation and all utilities are paid, and assistance with relocation is provided. </p><p>The Deputy Principal holds a senior leadership position in a Catholic School. The Deputy Principal is called to be a person of faith and vision based on Catholic values who has the capacity to communicate this vision to others in the school community so that it is shared and inclusive. </p><p>Particular responsibilities of the Deputy Principal include deputising for the Principal, leadership of school administration and timetabling, leadership of student wellbeing and positive behaviour, leadership of workplace and health and safety. </p><p>A commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education is an essential requirement. </p><p>This position involves working with children.
