The position is responsibe for administering College payments to suppliers and third parties including the accurate and timely processing of invoices, reconciliations, and payments. Strong attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills are required to work effectively with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and the finance team. </div><div>The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate knowledge of, and experience in, the areas listed below: </div><div><br /></div><div><b>Key duties and responsibilities: </b></div><div>• Accurately process supplier invoices, ensuring all relevant information is captured in a timely manner; </div><div>• Ensure all invoices are correctly coded and authorised before payment is processed; </div><div>• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies; </div><div>• Registration and general ledger entry for fixed assets; </div><div>• Prepare payment runs, ensuring all payments are made accurately and on time; </div><div>• Respond to supplier queries and provide excellent customer service; </div><div>• Assist with month-end and year-end processes; </div><div>• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records; </div><div>• Identify and implement process improvements. </div><div><br /></div><div><b>The successful applicant will: </b></div><div>• Demonstrate a clear understanding and commitment to the Mission of the Catholic School; </div><div>• Be supportive of the Lasallian ethos of the College; </div><div>• Adhere to the College’s Safeguarding Standards and Child Protection policies and procedures; </div><div>• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Officer or in a similar role; </div><div>• Strong attention to detail and accuracy; </div><div>• Excellent communication and customer service skills; </div><div>• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; </div><div>• Good time management and organisational skills; </div><div>• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software; </div><div>• Understanding of basic accounting principles; </div><div>• Be committed to professional growth and development of excellence.</div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><b>How to Apply:</b></div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div><b>APPLICATION MUST BE MADE ON-LINE VIA THE COLLEGE WEBSITE </b></div><div><a href="https://www.oakhill.nsw.edu.au/about/employment-1" rel="nofollow">https://www.oakhill.nsw.edu.au/about/employment-1</a></div><div><br /></div><div> </div><div>To apply for the role, candidates need to submit a covering letter (2 pages maximum) and an up-to-date curriculum vitae that clearly details their relevant skills and experience. </div><div><br /></div><div>Oakhill College is committed to child safety and Safeguarding Standards and the health, safety and wellbeing of our students, staff, and school community.
