This is a key position in the School Leadership Team to commence in Term 1, 2024. </p><p>We have a focus on continuous improvement and this role is strategic, operational and collegial, and is responsible for ensuring the Sacred Heart charism and Sacré Cœur Mission Statement are embedded into all aspects of school life. </p><p>The Deputy Principal and Director of Staff (P-12) will assist the Principal in leading the School to ensure high quality outcomes for all students and staff, and will support the Principal in providing both strategic and operational leadership of the School. Working with the other members of the School Leadership Team, they will liaise closely to set goals, implement initiatives and evaluate program delivery and content. </p><p>The Deputy Principal and Director of Staff (P-12) has key responsibility for building and promoting a strong performance and development culture, influencing and empowering staff to embrace continuous improvement through a professional learning culture. </p><p><b>About the Role </b></p><ul><li>Ongoing Full Time position as a teacher </li><li>Deputy Principal and Director of Staff (P-12) appointment for a initial 5-year term </li><li>Deputises for the Principal when required </li><li>Member of the School Leadership Team </li><li>Responsible for staff developmental leadership and staffing </li><li>Oversees all aspects relating to ICT </li><li>Small teaching load determined in consultation with the Principal </li><li>Salary details; see Terms and Conditions in the role description </li></ul><p><b>What You Will Bring To The Role </b></p><ul><li>Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with members of the School community </li><li>High motivation with a high level of professional personal presentation </li><li>Demonstrated ability to provide effective, collaborative and dynamic leadership </li><li>Be a demonstrated agent of change </li><li>The ability to work flexibly as part of a collaborative team to build positive relationships with students, parents and staff across the Sacré Cœur community </li><li>Highly developed communication, organisational and interpersonal skills </li><li>Accreditation to Lead in a Catholic School (or working towards this) desirable </li></ul><p><b>About Sacré Cœur </b></p><p>Founded in 1888, Sacré Cœur offers a transformative educational experience that is holistic and person centred.
