We are looking for a Learning Support Officer, with a passion for numeracy and science, to join our Diverse Learning team for 12 months, in a full time capacity.

<p>St Scholastica’s College is a Catholic Girls’ Day and Boarding School in the Good Samaritan tradition.<br /></p><p>We strive to develop each student’s capabilities through a variety of quality learning experiences by emphasising the strengths of each student, promoting her individuality, providing educational challenges and the freedom to learn.<br /></p><p>We are looking for a Learning Support Officer, with a passion for numeracy and science, to join our Diverse Learning team for 12 months, in a full time capacity. The role involves collaboration with our classroom teachers to provide exceptional support to students across Years 7-12 with additional learning needs.<br /></p><p><br /></p><p> The role involves, but is not limited to:</p><ul><li><b>Provide practical assistance to support whole school strategies for identified students &amp; specialist programs.</b></li><li><b>Monitor and record adjustments for students.</b></li><li><b>Work in classrooms and break tasks down into manageable steps for identified students.</b></li><li><b>Run small targeted learning groups for students. </b></li><li><b>Take part in case management meetings with teachers and counsellors when needed.</b></li><li><b>Assist the Diverse Learning Department with general administration duties.</b></li></ul><p> </p><p>About you:</p><ul><li><b>You are suitably experienced or qualified in Education Support</b></li><li><b>You have experience in the delivery of numeracy programs (preferred)</b></li><li><b>You possess a high level of interpersonal and communication skills</b></li><li><b>You’re passionate in helping meet the educational and wellbeing needs of our students</b></li><li><b>You have an understanding of appropriate behaviours and professional boundaries that reflect child safeguarding values in practice</b></li><li><b>You are willing to support the Catholic ethos of the School</b></li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Application Process<br /></p><p>To apply, please visit <i><b>www.scholastica.nsw.edu.au/employment,</b></i> complete our Employment Application Form, and send it together with your letter of application and current resume to: <b><i>hr&#64;scholastica.nsw.edu.au</i></b><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>St Scholastica’s College is committed to ensuring the safety, wellbeing and dignity of all children and young people.
