<p>Faith Lutheran College in the beautiful Barossa Valley is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Casual Canteen Staff member. This role requires a commitment to the Christian ethos of the College, a &#39;can do&#39; attitude, heart for service and commitment to meeting the needs of our students, families and staff.</p><p>Working in a fast paced environment alongside our friendly team, responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with health and safety standards </li><li>Assist with food preparation, including slicing, dicing, and cooking as required </li><li>Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the canteen area </li><li>Provide friendly and efficient customer service to students, staff, and visitors </li><li>Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately </li><li>Collaborate with the canteen team to ensure smooth operation and teamwork </li><li>Assist with catering for special events and functions as needed </li><li>Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations</li></ul><p><b>Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>previous experience in food handling or a similar role is preferred</li><li>excellent customer service and communication skills</li><li>ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines</li><li>a friendly and outgoing personality</li><li>strong organisational skills and attention to detail</li><li>ability to work collaboratively in a team environment</li><li>current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one prior to employment</li><li>appropriate food handling and safety qualifications</li></ul><p><b>About Faith Lutheran College</b></p><p>Faith Lutheran College is a vibrant and inclusive learning community located in the picturesque Barossa Valley.
