The ability to teach either Religious Education would be an advantage. <b>There is a possibility of a flexible work arrangement (part-time work) with this position. </b></p><p><br /></p><p><b>Essential Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>Demonstrable support and commitment to the mission, values and ethos of Catholic Education</li><li>Demonstrable success as a classroom teacher with experience in working with students with diverse needs</li><li>Proven ability to implement high impact teaching strategies to improve numeracy and learning outcomes for every student</li><li>Demonstrated experience in collecting and using a range of evidence to assess, evaluate and improve teaching and learning practices</li><li>Proven ability to integrate ICT into teaching and learning programs</li><li>Skilled and committed to working with students through a positive approach to behaviour management</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration and quality relationships in working with others</li></ul><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>Desirable Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>Proven skills in the use of the Cloudshare learning management system (Drive, Sites, Teacher Dashboard) and COMPASS (Attendance, Personal learning plans, reporting and markbook) and using the PP Tool<br /></li><li>Willingness to lead and support co-curricular events</li></ul><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>You will have attained:</b></p><ul><li>a tertiary qualification in Education</li><li>active membership with NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) with a minimum accreditation level of Conditional</li><li>SCS Employee ID number or a commitment to <a href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/careers/registration-to-teach" rel="nofollow">Register to Teach</a> in SCS.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b>Please note candidates may be interviewed and appointed prior to the closing date.</b></p><p><br /></p><p><b>Working With Children Check (WWCC)</b></p><p>This role is classified as child-related work and therefore requires a WWCC clearance prior to commencement of employment.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p>
