We are currently seeking a Risk Assurance Lead to refine and support further development of Risk Management across the organisation.

Covering an expansive geographical area which includes the Central Coast and Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore, Catholic Schools Broken Bay is a system serving 44 Catholic Schools with around 17,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. </p><p><b>The Role </b></p><p>The Risk Assurance Lead drives and leads CSBB risk management frameworks, structures, and initiatives to build a risk management culture and further establish risk management practices across CSBB. The role collaborates across workstreams and schools to support an integrated and effective risk management approach. </p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><p><b>Some responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:</b></p><ul><li>Implements, embeds and reviews the Risk Management Framework across CSBB<b> </b><br /></li><li>Effectively communicates and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the identification of key business risks and support their management </li><li>Develops engaging risk training and guidance material for leaders to support due diligence in governance </li><li>Provides expert risk management advice, analytics and insights to system leaders and other key stakeholder groups, including preparation and delivery of governance reporting </li><li>Facilitates, communicates, and promotes a positive risk culture across the system </li><li>Creatively develops approaches that support risk management activities through a deep understanding of CSBB operations and governance </li></ul><p><b>Essential Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>Extensive knowledge and expertise leading and managing an enterprise risk management framework, risk strategy and the continual improvement of risk related functions, processes and controls </li><li>A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role </li><li>Demonstrated experience in the provision of high-quality information, advice, and analysis to inform decision making and engender a positive risk culture; combined with exceptional communication, interpersonal, negotiation and relationship building skills </li><li>Knowledge and understanding of current trends and challenges in the primary/secondary faith-based education sector, and an ability to apply this understanding to the role (desirable though not essential) </li><li>Demonstrated ability to walk alongside senior leaders to engage purposefully with them and have a level of influence and impact to achieve operational/strategic goals </li><li>A track record of managing self to meet deadlines, deliver high quality work with emotional self-awareness and awareness of others </li><li>Is adaptive and responsive to change and can adapt to changing circumstances and priorities </li></ul><p><b>Benefits of Working with Us:</b></p><ul><li><b>Competitive salary </b>on offer </li><li><b>Free onsite parking </b>and public transport close by </li><li><b>25% School Fee Discount </b></li><li><b>Generous leave entitlements </b>including ex-gratia leave at Christmas time </li><li><b>Annual Leave Loading </b></li><li><b>Salary Packaging</b></li></ul><p><b>Application Process </b></p><p>Applications should include: </p><ul><li>A Cover Letter of no more than one page, addressing why you are interested in the role and addressing each of the essential requirements listed above </li><li>A current Resume </li></ul><p>Applications should be sent directly to Janine Harnett at<b> </b><a href="mailto:janine.harnett&#64;dbb.catholic.edu.au" rel="nofollow">janine.harnett&#64;dbb.catholic.edu.au</a></p><p> </p><p><b>Closing Date: 15/06/23</b><br /></p><p><i>We are not currently seeking assistance from Recruitment Agencies for this role at this time</i></p><p><b>New position on COVID-19 vaccinations </b></p><p>Given the current management of risks associated with COVID-19 in the community, and the gradual wind-back of some settings, CSBB has decided to no longer require all staff to be fully vaccinated, effective 19 September 2022.
