Collaborating closely with and supporting teachers, families, and external specialists, you will provide tailored support and foster an inclusive learning environment that empowers every student to reach their full potential.</p><p>ESE - Category B, Level 2.<br />Start Date Negotiable.  <br />Fixed term contract </p><p><b>Responsibilities:<br /></b>- Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities, learning difficulties, or additional educational requirements.<br />- Support teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans and strategies.<br />- Create an inclusive classroom environment that celebrates diversity and promotes a sense of belonging.<br />- Assist in the delivery of specialized programs and interventions to address specific learning needs.<br />- Support students during assessments and examinations, ensuring equal opportunities for all.<br />- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate updates to teachers and Learning Support Coordinators.<br />- Collaborate with the wider educational community to ensure comprehensive support for students.</p><p><b>Requirements:<br /></b>- Relevant qualification in Education Support, Special Education, or a related field.<br />- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs in an educational setting.<br />- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships.<br />- Empathy, patience, and adaptability to cater to individual student needs.<br />- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a team.<br />- Knowledge of inclusive education practices and relevant legislation.</p><p>Join our team of dedicated educators and make a lasting impact on the lives of students in Melbourne.
