<p>St. Patrick’s Murrumbeena is seeking a high-performing, committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Officer (LSO) to join our team . </p><p>This is a fixed term position until the end of the 2023 school year, 5 days per week, 9:00 am to 3.00pm, with the potential to work in classes P-6.</p><p>There is the possibility that the role would continue for a further 12 months contract position.</p><p>St Patrick’s is a supportive and welcoming school with a number of LSOs working across the school. The role of Learning Support Officer is to provide support under the direction of a teacher or leader, to one child or more than one child with disabilities or specific learning needs through their Personalised Learning Plans. </p><p>A more detailed role description is attached. </p><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>Special Requirements </b></p><p>The successful applicant must be supportive of the Catholic Ethos. Applicants must have a current Working With Children check and National Police Check. Applicants must be able to contribute to a team environment and work with teachers, parents and consultants. </p><p>Successful completion of a Certificate 3 or 4 in Education Support, or equivalent, and relevant experience working with young students with disabilities and specific learning needs would be an advantage. </p><p>Proof of personal identity and any professional or other qualifications. </p><p>The successful applicant will adhere to St Patrick’s Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct and other policies relevant to Ministerial Order No. 870. </p><p>Applications should be completed in writing and forwarded via email to principal&#64;spmurrumbeena.catholic.edu.au or by post to the principal by 4pm on Tuesday the 13th June.
