Our Lady Of Lourdes Primary School Tarro is seeking a permanent full-time Religious Education Coordinator&nbsp;to join the team from 2024.<br><br>Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School, Tarro is a systemic Catholic school within the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle, catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 6 from the areas of Tarro, Woodberry, Beresfield, Thornton, Tenambit and Ashtonfield.<br>Our school community is warm and welcoming, with a strong focus on supporting children with additional needs to help them reach their individual learning goals.<br>The school celebrates the unique gifts and qualities of each individual student and encourages them to fully participate in the life of their class and school.<br>At Our Lady of Lourdes, students can participate in many extra-curricular activities and competitions beyond the classroom environment such as debating, public speaking, ICAS, Science and Technology challenges, spelling bees and sporting events.<br><br><a href="https://diocesemn.azurewebsites.net/media/5501/position_description_-_cso_-_religious_education_coordinator.pdf" target="_blank"><br><br><head3><b>POSITION DESCRIPTION</b></head3></a><br><br>In the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle, Religious Education Co-ordinators (RECs) are recognised and acknowledged as significant religious leaders for our primary school communities. They are members of the school executive team and are tasked with the role of supporting the Principal and Parish Priest in promoting and affirming the Catholic culture, identity and mission of the school.<br><br>RECs represent the school and the teaching profession in the community, especially the parish. They are professional, ethical and respected individuals within and outside the school.<br><br>RECs develop and shape a shared vision focused on providing quality and educational experiences and learning outcomes for all students.
