St Pius X High School, Adamstown&nbsp;is seeking 2 x permanent full time Leader of Learning - Wellbeing and Engagement&nbsp;to join the team in January 2024.<br><br>St Pius X High School, Adamstown, is a coeducational Catholic School serving students in Years 7 to 10.<br>The community at St Pius X High School aims for excellence in all areas of study, providing a range of opportunities for all students to experience success.<br>St Pius X has a proud history and an excellent reputation in the Newcastle region, priding itself on providing a space where the creativity, skill and talent of its teaching staff are appreciated, embraced and encouraged.<br><br><a href="https://diocesemn.azurewebsites.net/media/5497/position_description_-_cso_-_leader_of_wellbeing_and_engagement.pdf" target="_blank"><u><strong><br><br><head3><b>POSITION DESCRIPTION</b></head3></strong></u></a><br><br>The Leader of Learning - Wellbeing &amp; Engagement works in collaboration with the school leadership team and colleagues to ensure the promotion of student wellbeing in accordance with contemporary evidence-based principles.&nbsp;&nbsp;Across the school they will:<br><li>ensure the highest standards of student wellbeing and learning engagement<br></li><li>establish and maintain a culture of care and ensure proactive support for students and families<br></li><li>work with Leaders of Learning to develop and implement quality learning and wellbeing programs that support engagement and learning outcomes<br></li><li>establish a culture of collaborative and reflective practice<br></li><li>support individuals in identifying new experiences for their continual professional development<br><br>The teacher will promote the school as a place of learning and excellence in accordance with contemporary evidence-based learning and wellbeing principles (including digital learning) and will ensure the ongoing development and implementation of pedagogical practices that impact on student learning outcomes.&nbsp; The teacher will acknowledge and agree to the requirement to work within the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.</li>
