<p>St Joseph&#39;s has implemented the CECV RenewALL Program which engages both students and teachers in learning languages together. The model is known as Teachers as Co-learners (TCL).</p><p>TCL is a contemporary pedagogical approach underpinned by recent research into what we know works in Victorian Catholic Schools. In our TCL approach all teachers and students are learners of Italian and time is allocated every day to ensure frequent exposure to, and learning of, both the target language and English. </p><p>In the future we endeavour to have English and Italian lessons together under the literacy banner using shared pedagogical tools, such as colourful semantics, ensuring students and teachers transfer learning skills across all their languages and curriculum areas.</p><p>To support this program we are seeking an Italian teacher to plan online daily lessons from prep to year six. The teacher would also support this by delivering fortnightly lessons in each class. </p><p>Experience using the TCL model is a prerequisite. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
