Playford College is an Islamic school and serves the communities of the Northern Suburbs with over 550 enrolments from Foundation to Year 12. Our teaching team strives to learn and grow together and support each other’s unique gifts and talents so that we can best meet the needs of our students and their families.<div><b><br /></b></div><div><b>The successful applicant will:</b></div><div><br /></div><ul><li>Be registered to teach in South Australia, holding current Responding to Abuse and Neglect, First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training certificates</li><li>Demonstrate and maintain a strong commitment to the ethos and values of Playford College</li><li>Understand and demonstrate the importance of positive and productive relationships with students and their families</li><li>Be able to manage students through the effective yet fair application of behaviour management strategies in line with the school’s Behaviour Management Policy</li><li>Be open to change and approach challenges with flexibility, possessing a growth mindset</li><li>Show a genuine love, concern and devotion to meeting the needs of students from diverse backgrounds</li><li>Demonstrate a capacity to receive feedback and make necessary adjustments to modify practice where necessary</li><li>Be prepared to undertake additional professional development as required</li><li>Contribute effectively to the teaching team with a spirit of collaboration and support </li><li>Demonstrate knowledge of, and experience in, the use of the Australian Curriculum.</li><li>Possess high level organisational skills</li><li>Use IT confidently and competently for day to day teaching and learning, planning, assessment, administration and reporting</li><li>Demonstrate a capacity to adapt teaching strategies and plans to suit diverse needs and learning styles</li><li>Prepare clear and suitable year, term and weekly lesson overviews and plans</li><li>Undertake appropriate and sufficient assessment of student progress</li><li>Keep accurate records of student achievement and provide suitable reports to parents</li><li>Provide timely and appropriate communication with parents/caregivers</li><li><br /></li></ul><div><b>Salary:</b></div><div><br /></div><div>Remuneration will be based upon the successful applicant’s level of experience as specified in the current Playford College Salaries and Conditions.</div><div><br /></div><div>Application Closing Date:</div><div><br /></div><div>Friday 16th June 2023</div><div><br /></div><div>Applicants must include:</div><div><br /></div><div>A resume</div><div>Covering letter of interest</div><div>An application form, downloaded here: https://playfordcollege.sa.edu.au/employment</div>
