The Data Discovery and Engineering Officer is responsible for the ongoing improvement of an IT platform that will be used for enterprise data-informed decision-making. Currently, this is using the Dell Boomi platform and Azure Data Factory.</li> <li>Implement appropriate systems and tools for school staff and business units across CE to provide for self-service reporting of key data with appropriate access controls.</li> <li>Liaise with our ICT network team and provider CEnet in facilitating appropriate server platforms to support DDAP.</li> <li>Ensure stability and quality of the platform by utilising appropriate change control and release management procedures and required user and technical documentation. Azure DevOps is the preferred platform for this within CE.</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Must have completed a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent formal qualification and/or working experience in similar role.</li> <li>Comprehensive experience in business to IT solution analysis and design skills.</li> <li>Comprehensive experience in database design, data conversion, data migration, and data integrity solutions.</li> <li>Experience in the development and/or implementation of application systems, data analysis, and data warehousing.</li> <li>Experience with Azure DevOps.</li> <li>Knowledge and/or experience in data analytics tooling.</li> <li>Training and experience in integration technologies.</li> <li>Advanced level of skills with relevant technologies and domains.</li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><strong>Application Process</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Applicants must submit a current resume and cover letter addressing the essential criteria outlined above.
